Do you struggle with:

  • planning ahead

  • missing deadlines

  • creating or sticking to a schedule

  • organizing tasks in the correct order

  • procrastinating on tasks until the very last minute

  • losing time when you’ve become absorbed in a task

  • feelings of shame that people may think you’re lazy or flaky

  • anxiety about time moving either too quickly or not quickly enough

  • being unproductive for most of your day while waiting for an event that’s scheduled in the afternoon…

Is this detrimentally impacting your business or your ability to achieve things that you want for yourself?

I feel you. I won’t go into my personal story until a later email, but just know, I do understand, because I struggle with these challenges too

The challenges I’ve listed above are what modern society has deemed as time blindness. It’s common in people who have ADHD and other mental health experiences, but it’s not limited to these people.

As an entrepreneur who is very passionate about living my life as fully as I possibly can, and achieving the goals I’ve set out to accomplish for myself,

it has been a mission in and of itself to figure out how to navigate day-to-day with these personal limitations,

and still fulfill not only the mundane work that needs to be done to continue existing in this material realm,

but also the sacred work I feel called to do, that gives me a sense of purpose and brings me joy,

and contributes to the beautification of the grander scheme of It All.

Since I can’t simply rid myself of these limitations I was born into, I’ve had to accept that I can only learn how to work with them.

The first step to working with a limitation is to learn about it to understand what it is and what you can do with it.

Time blindness, in more esoteric terms, is really just a struggle to flow. This is what I’ve concluded it is anyway.

To flow with time you need the collaboration of two types of time: Chronos and Kairos. These two types of time were observed by the ancient Greeks but have existed long before, at least since the earliest written records.

Chronos time is structured time. It’s chronological, sequential, and measured with schedules, calendars, and clocks. For the ancient Greeks, Chronos was the primordial personification of time. There was also another figure in Greek mythology named Cronus, or Kronos, who was the Titan of agriculture and harvest who personified the devouring nature of time.

Chronos time is the type of time that makes things happen, especially things that require collaboration. If you don’t align with Chronos, you’re going to feel like things are happening to you whether you like it or not on a clock that you feel like you’re constantly running behind. But, if you do align with Chronos time, you’ll have the ability to be someone who causes things to happen on your timetable, through your own will.

The other kind of time is Kairos time. This is the lesser known or understood type of time. Kairos time is “the perfect moment”. It’s a subjective experience where time can seem to stand still, such as in a meaningful conversation, or becoming engrossed in a book or activity. It is chance and opportunity, and often fleeting. Within Kairos time, creative inspiration strikes, psychic downloads occur, and quantum leaps are initiated. If you can flow with Kairos time, you’ll feel like the luckiest human on the planet. If you’re out of flow with Kairos time, you will feel disconnected and like your life lacks meaning or purpose.

If you suffer from time blindness on planet Earth, it basically means your default disposition is to either procrastinate or avoid aligning with Chronos time. This means you default to living more at the whim of Kairos time (such as getting lost in the now unaware of how much time has actually passed making you late for an important engagement) and, without the collaboration with Chronos, you can’t make things happen intentionally without extremely great force needing to be applied.

You struggle as an entrepreneur challenged by time blindness because your default programming is Kairos but the world you are attempting to operate your business in is structured on Chronos. Businesses exist through collaboration with customers or clients. Collaboration happens on Chronos time. Businesses also exist through the practice of good housekeeping with finances. The bills are due on Chronos time.

Like any default programming, this is something you can override, but you have to know how to do it. To override default programming, you need to understand how to work with the system that created it. But if you’re not a programmer, this can seem daunting. That’s why user-friendly interfaces are created. You don’t need an in-depth working knowledge of the entire OS. You just need to know the exact buttons to press to get the thing done that you’re wanting to get done.

The only user-friendly interface you really need to master any system big or small, is called The Enneagram.

And no, I’m not talking about the personality test. The enneagram as a personality test is a modern invention, but the enneagram itself is much older and far more valuable and powerful in its original design.

The symbol of the enneagram itself represents the collaboration of three universal laws that make all events in the universe occur by aligning the two forces of Kairos and Chronos. Therefore it’s the perfect system for entrepreneurs who suffer from the challenges of time blindness.

If you want to accomplish goals in an easeful flow with Kairos moments,

without struggling against the rigid Chronos clock,

then allow me to give you a tour around the interface of the enneagram system,

and show you how to make it work for you.

With this system you’ll be able to easily accomplish anything, no matter how impossible it seems, regardless of how time blind you think you are.

Starting January 6th I’ll be teaching a 10-week workshop on mastering the user-friendly interface of The Enneagram, the Master System of all systems.

The cost of the workshop is $299 in-full or four monthly payments of $75.
