Human Design tells me I’m a Manifestor, which means I start things and struggle to finish them.
But that doesn’t mean that’s how I’m always meant to be and I call bullshit on anyone claiming their astrological design is exactly who they are and how they will always be.
Your astrological design is not meant to trap you in patterns. It’s meant to show you the mold you can break free from (because that’s how you evolve with nature rather than crystallize into a repetitive, unconscious machine). This is the maze you’re meant to solve. Whatever your astrology or human design tells you about yourself - call bullshit on it! That’s not you. Not in an “I’m so averse to the idea that this could be me” kind of way, but rather in a “Yes, I recognize this pattern and I also understand that I have the option do it different this time” kind of way.
You are so much more than you or anyone can even imagine. You are a microcosm of the macrocosm and there is so much power and potential and creativity yet to be discovered within you, just like there is within the Entirety-of-the-Great-Wow. You are who a piece of paper tells you you are only when you allow it to lull you into hypnosis and control your every move. Alternatively you could allow it to open your eyes to see the map that it is and use it to find your way through the maze to the EXIT sign where you get to level up if you choose to step through.
Human design tells me I’m a Manifestor. That doesn’t mean I’m supposed to use it as an excuse for my tendency to not finish things. That’s entirely on me. When I take responsibility I open myself up to the possibility to make a different choice in the future.
Human Design (and other personality type tools, such as astrology charts) is only meant to help us become aware of what our greatest challenges and limitations might be. I absolutely do struggle with finishing my own projects, but by using Human Design I can build more awareness of my patterns, tendencies, weaknesses, and strengths in order to strengthen what is weak and optimize what is already pretty strong, ultimately to break out of any default programming I no longer want to be limited by.
And btw, even though there are some projects I have indeed left unfinished, there are just as many that I have actually completed. I do however recognize the difficulty I experience in maintaining focus throughout the completion phase of a project.
It is now 2026 and I’m doing things very differently this year in both life and my business (which will be undergoing some changes).
In 2026 I will be focusing on mastering flow in life and work by bringing in more neutral time with the use of the enneagram. I’ve talked about the enneagram in my last handful of emails (view all my posts here). It’s the tool I studied all of 2025 and if you google The Enneagram most search results will tell you it’s just another personality test. It is not. The Enneagram personality test is a modern development, but the enneagram itself is a much older symbol and tool and this is what I’ve been studying all of last year along with the philosophy behind it, called The Fourth Way.
All of these personality type tools are really meant to be maps for finding your way. The enneagram is the most superior map of them all, in my opinion. It’s so clear, concise, multi-purpose, and unbreakable. Whereas other tools, like astrology charts or tarot cards, can feel like lighting a candle in the dark, the enneagram provides the sense of security of turning on high beam headlights to avoid hitting deer on your drive.
However, to properly use the enneagram, you must master three different types of time, or forces, to set into motion the creative flow [that allows you to actually get things done without going on unnecessary tangents, burning out, or quitting too soon]. These three different types of time/forces are called active, passive, and neutral.
Passive I’m good on (most people are good on this). An example of passive time is studying. I’ll still be learning new things in 2026, but I’m intentionally decreasing the amount of time I spend in passive to make room for more active and neutral.
In 2026 my active time will be increasing by taking all the knowledge I’ve gained in passive and doing something with it. It’s a waste of knowledge if I don’t do something with it. My primary active aim this year is to be a teacher, and a big way I’ll be spending my active time is by teaching and putting my work out into the world for people who want to learn from me to find.
Neutral time is the type of time I’ve been starved of the most. Neutral time is time spent with nothing going in and nothing coming out. This could be time spent in meditation, doing the dishes, going for a walk, etc. The key to getting the most out of neutral time is to not rush through it, but be present in it. Neutral time is time spent where you turn your active brain off, you’re not learning anything new, you’re not teaching something you know, no input, no output, you’re just being in the present and allowing whatever wants to be revealed to you to be revealed. This is the time within which revelations occur.
In order to make space for more neutral time in 2026 and establish a steady creative flow in my life and work, I’m intentionally decreasing passive time by scheduling a reasonable amount of intentional active time, and blocking off undefined neutral time where I will do a task that presents itself in the moment like cooking, dishes, or going for a hike - but without rushing through it. Creative projects like weaving, doodling, crocheting, dancing, playing a musical instrument, etc are also excellent ways to enjoy neutral time because of the rhythmic motions you do that allow you to achieve a meditative state of mind and opens the mental gateway for new visions and answers to flow in. *It’s important to keep in mind that initially creative tasks might not be true neutral time tasks if you are still learning the techniques, but they’ll become neutral time tasks after a bit of practice when your mind can finally reach a relaxed state once you’re no longer having to think about what you’re doing.
Now for YOU to establish steady creative flow in your life this year, I recommend getting acquainted with:
Which type of time you’ve been spending the most already?
Passive = taking in but not putting out (learning something new, watching tv, reading, spending money, etc)
Active = putting out, not taking in (turning knowledge into skill, making, directing energy, doing the thing, etc)
Neutral = nothing in, nothing out. Rest. Dreaming. (mindless tasks, rhythmic movements, not hurried, etc)
Which type of time you could spend more of?
How you can spend it the best?
You need a balance between all three types: active, passive, and neutral. This is one of the core concepts I teach in my Enneagram workshop, which I’ll be relaunching later.
If you’re interested in learning more about the Enneagram, hit reply or post a comment to let me know! Send me any questions you might have so I’ll know what specifically to address.
So going back to Human Design and being a typical Manifestor who struggles to finish their projects, if you’ve read any of my previous emails, you’ve probably understood that I was launching my first online workshop, The Enneagram, last year. But as soon as the holidays hit (Thanksgiving) I struggled to complete the launch (finish writing the launch emails and promote it on social media) and in fact ended up quitting on those tasks altogether.
What I found myself doing instead was enjoying a lot of much need neutral time that I had been avoiding taking throughout the entirety of the past year. I pushed myself to increase active time and I spent way more time than I should have in my comfort zone (passive time) and rushed through, or avoided altogether, probably the most valuable time of them all: neutral.
Once the holidays came around and my boyfriend and I traveled to visit family and friends from Thanksgiving to New Years Eve, I found myself swept up in the most glorious of neutral times and reveled in it. Some will say the reality of this is that I fell back into my Manifestor habit and the common enneagram roadblock of quitting too quickly when the process gets challenging, and I actually don’t disagree with this at all. This is exactly what I did. I quit the launch when it got too challenging to keep up with during holiday festivities. However, rather than giving up on my goal altogether, the thing I’m doing differently is taking in the data: The thanksgiving through xmas holidays are just not a good time (for me) to do a launch. Next year I won’t do that.
Now that we’re moving into 2026, I’m picking up where I left off. Since I’m mapping my launch process to the enneagram itself, I can see clearly the last point I didn’t successfully clear. This is the point I’ll need to complete now in order to move forward and onward. With the enneagram, you can’t just quit and start over. To move forward to a new cycle you have to complete each step in the current cycle chronologically, or you’ll simply remain stuck.
The beautiful thing however about making up on lost neutral time over the past month is that so many marvelous visions were revealed to me during that time. Now, instead of hoarding these beautiful visions in my mind, I’m tasked with the sacred work of bringing these visions forth into material form. This is also the work of the enneagram, of mapping a vision to this sacred symbol to create a step-by-step system to follow for drawing an idea down from the intangible aether into the tangible world.
So, as you may or may not know depending on when you got on my email list, I started my business last year, in 2025. I’ve been working primarily as a digital marketer/virtual assistant before and throughout this time period up to know. This will not remain the case going forward into 2026 and beyond.
Part of the neutral time visions that have been revealed to me at the tail end of 2025 is that my work is meant to evolve greatly and it needs to happen much sooner than later.
I’m not leaving behind marketing altogether and I still intend to serve small businesses in achieving success. However, in a rapidly changing world and with a digital landscape evolving/devolving (depending on your view) into AI wilderness, adaptation is essential for survival. I can see a path forward. Can you? I want to help you see it too.
In this age of the rise of AI I struggled last year to keep my footing in the digital marketing realm. All the knowledge and skills I had spent valuable time and money acquiring in years prior appeared to be more rapidly than ever growing irrelevant in the new digital wilderness cultivated by AI and the ever-evolving social media platforms. With money and motivation running out, how could I keep up? And also it felt so necessary to try to keep up in order to run my own business and help other business owners succeed in running theirs.
With some of the last few dollars I had left to spare in 2025 I threw it at yet more courses that promised to bestow upon me the absolute essential wisdom bites for pushing through to success in this absurd, apocalyptic digital landscape. It was money well spent but the thing is, implementation is key in absorbing the knowledge and actually achieving the promised results.
Acquiring knowledge is easy. Spending money is easy. Implementation is the challenge. Making money out of money spent is the boss level.
More to come.
And I’ll leave you with
My best marketing and business advice
that I have to give right now (aside from everything I’ve already stated above) is:
be more human (online and offline).
Stop trying to be perfect. Stop procrastinating because you don’t think its ready. Post it. Appreciate your imperfections. Show up raw and unfiltered - not in a mindless, careless, sloppy way (that is arguably and ironically very mechanical and AI coded) but in a conscious, mindful, “I’ve turned my mess into a powerful message to share”, being fully present in the moment sort of way. The time is now, not later.
Also. Less judginess. More responsibility (online and offline).
Questions? Comments? Hit reply.

P.S. If anything I’ve said here confused the hell out of you, that’s okay. It doesn’t mean you’re unintelligent. In fact I have full confidence that you can understand me if you really want to. Apparently, if you don’t understand what I’m saying, that’s the “curse” of the Manifestor 🙃 and I just need to explain things more thoroughly. But if I don’t know what needs to be clarified, then I can’t do that. So, if you could do me a favor and hit reply (or post a comment) with your comments or questions, then I’ll have a better understanding of what you need and communication will improve. Thanks! Xo
